Underwater world

by Riki-tiki-tawi

The sun, which’s near to the set much wiser than sunrise,
The Mermaid sits among the sea to sing and hypnotize,
Despite her hair is so wet and skin is blue from cold,
About the beasts from seven seas the story’s being told,
Long time ago some power froze the love from human’s world,
And water dwellers keep it now in substance of the salt.

Mesmerizing, like a siren's song, poet... a wonderful whimsical tale to settle down to and enjoy reading more than once. I felt your shivers too, the water's cold and deep out there. Welcome to gotpoetry and very best wishes, Mary Ann (Merry Christmas Eve, too!)

Wow! You know how to move the ocean thats for sure. I could see her beauty, felt like I was swimming with her. The end made me feel like I was searching with you. Great write. Take care, Gail
