Destination Anywhere

I’m leaving now, it’s time for me to go,
I just can’t keep, putting on this show.
I’ve had enough, I can’t take anymore,
It’s high time, I walked out that door.

I’ve listened to your nonsense, and all of your lies,
It’s now time for me, to at last say my goodbyes.
I’ve packed all my things, and I’m heading away,
The moment has come, today is the day.

I’ll leave you this note, and an explanation of why,
You’ve sapped all my energy, inside I’ve just died.
When you cheated on me, it cut me to the bone,
Don’t try to call me, I’ve left you my phone.

So I’ll venture forth, into the world yet unknown,
With the clothes on my back, you can keep what I own.
I’m starting again fresh, with no crosses to bear,
My route is the open road, my destination is anywhere.
