Sense of Comfort

There is a sense of comfort
in the early morning hours
when the day wraps itself around you
like a warm cuddly blanket.
It's the feeling you get as you
sip a cup of hot chocolate
to ward off the morning chill.
It's the sigh of a lover
as you lay in each others arms
snuggled soft and warm together
in the aftermath of making love.
You watch the sunrise
ready to warm the earth
to give you a place of peace
a sense of comfort.

warm comforting and sensual all wrapped up in one little poem. I loved it.
