Poems - On A Winter Day

On A Winter Day

There's always so much to do
on a winter day,
wash the dishes, make the beds,
sweep the crumbs away,
mop and wax the kitchen floor,
clean litter boxes are a must,
put away the laundry,
the furniture I should dust.
The carpet needs a vacuum
but I can't seem to find my way
to leave my window seat where
I sip my tea on a winter day.

getting up and doing things is overated bonnie. better to hide under the blankets till spring ha ha - paul and the spring roller.

I have the same problem when the snow is coming down. I feel like I'm inside one of those things you turn upside down and it snows and I get to watch. LOL
