I will,carry thee away,I will,I will,I must,I would like.
Such tears I have never seen, please try, please cloak thy self from the Bodkin point so infused with the bitterness, anger, hurt fired so true from the long bow of a lover long past , reappearing ,crawling from beneath the Serpentine rock of a time gone by,reopening closed wounds still sore to the touch sore to the eye.
Seems thy smile ,slapped from your face long ago could find heart to climb the stairwell of darkness and bring forth light to your beauty once more.
you live in somber dreams, peasant fear, foetal sleep behind the carefully locked door,a chilled fear waltzing intimately with a partner named my future unknown.
Once eye's so almond full of twinkle and bonfire sparkle, emitting sun bursts to the blessed few now stare to the floor drained of the sweet life by a parasitic boy ignorant of the pain inflicted but aware of his relish in doing so.
Give me thy trust ,betroth me with thy loving gaze, time is our Alie, time will support, time will gently heal and close the painful grasp. Let me love thee, allow me to embrace thee with the blanket of winters warm inglenook glow,so safe,so soft,so brushed grate draw.
For us,I wish the creaky picket gate, trailing fuchsia scent wafted soft by the goldfinch winged beat, distant bumble buzz and joyous admirals red. Visualize the golden crafted thatch with it's garret eye reflecting the distant hills and meadows beneath. Lime washed walls so wight sun bright, centuries strong protecting the soft woods within.
Come stroll the path of the iron age flint, meander, ponder for awhile ,feel the safety of my seasoned gnarled oak door, for none shall hurt thee once behind.

Wonderful, truly classic old world love poem... I especially love the oh so vivid garden scene. Your humble reader would love to see your artistic poetry arranged in phrase-by-phrase form, perchance?
Cheers and welcome, Mary Ann
