Dreams of You

Lying in a field of love
I dreamed about the two of us.
It felt so real the love I feel
I did not make this up.

I called your name and you appeared
adorned in love so precious
I held you gently in my arms
read poems with flowing verses.

You touched my mouth with sinuous lips
I never had such sweetness
Serenity engulfed our love
with absolute completeness.

You look at me with loving eyes
and fade into a mist
The dream is almost over
and I want more of it.

Touched by desire to be with you
I never get enough
This dream it happens all the time
I did not make it up.

your dream seemed so beautiful and peaceful, as so did your poem, you are a most gifted poem writer and i feel we may have gotten on the wrong foot when i first came here, so i must say am sorry, i didnt understand the ratings in here, but now i do so i hope you accept my apology, and that we can move forward into a divine friendship as most poets do. thank you for reading and commenting on my poem WHAT IS REAL, at the time of that writing i was having problems with what was real in my life my dreams seemed to be what i was doing in my life and my life seemed to be my dreams, but i guess you may not be able to understand what am saying and sometimes neither do i lol

I had just listened to "Just a Dream" by Nelly, and then read your poem, very similar attitude I believe, except as noted above, is very peaceful. I wish my dreams about my ex would be happy and peaceful, not nightmares. Great write!!
