Time Machine, Part 1: Karl Marx

by AsIf

I pushed the button, then arrived
in Brussels, 1845;
I didn't take the man alive,
he never saw my face.

While he was sleeping in his bed,
I put a slug into his head,
then tossed his manuscript of dread
into the fireplace.

I'd not returned to where I dwell
before I sent one more to hell-
yes, I'd reserved a second shell
for Engels, just in case.

Now with my conscience all is well,
and more, my time and place.

    Hello Rondo. Thank you. I consider Karl Marx one of the most evil men who ever lived.

Not into political poetry at all, but damn, that form is clever and flawless!
