hmmmm amazing what you can learn nowadays. i'm gonna have to write a poem about cleaning hound poo out of long grass ha ha - paul and the pooper.

Ths made me smile on a dark depressing day.

Dear Z, I wish I didn't relate to this . Recently, my litter scooper broke, and my hand plunged into the depths. For the sake of decency I won't repeat what neighbors from at least ten miles must have heard as a wild man howling.

I love it! The rhymes are clever, and the slightly jerky meter really adds to the poem.

Glad my cat is half billy goat (I think he is) I found him eating goats when he was Kgoatten never found out what nanny had him.

As for littler boxes of what I detest cleaning is one of those detestable chores; luck I am Johnny is housebroke, he asks to go outside and gets quite belligerent to let us know to he wants out.

House training is easy in the country and is safe. In the cities and subdivisions or in apartments not so, because of the danger of cars and people. Country people very lucky the only problem can be stray dogs and of course a roaming cat. So Don't Delay; Spay or Neuter. Less heart break; I am one of those I go crazy when I have a pet missing.

For cat house breaking and getting rid of that litter box PM; BWP...

Bonnie I thought your poem to be very funny and I needed a laugh; why not funny genre?

lmao! i wondered what kind of cat could eat goats! and yes! oh please anyone who has animals or does animal rescue please spay and neuter! all our cats are "fixed" and when possible we capture strays and get them spayed or neutered. Some we can find homes for others won't be socialized so go to farms or are released again. They do tend to come back for food so we don't worry too much about them. I do have to admit when living in the woods of VT it was much easier as the cats were indoor/outdoor and used the great outdoors as their litter box .

Liked this a lot, made me giggle. However on another note, I read of an illness that comes from handling cat litter. Some kind of virus, maybe? Do you recall hearing this? So the mask might be a good idea...Hugs and Blueberry pies, Tasha

it's called toxoplasmosis which is why pregnant women should not be clean litter boxes.

Oh my yes, and scary it was to read about. I want to recommend a movie: Moonrise Kingdom. It's in theaters here, a charming story about two twelve year olds and and a small island in Maine. Look for it and be sure to see it. I just did, today. Hugs and Love, Tasha
