I changed my number
I changed my locks
I changed my address
I changed my block
I crossed the country
I crossed the sea
I nearly crossed over
But I was not free

'Cuz I can't get away from you

You are the almost was
You are the might have been
You are the great what if
You are the war within

I found religion
I found philosophy
I found a new hobby
But you still found me

'Cuz I can't get away from you

I changed my appearance
I changed my name
I changed the subject
But it's still the same

I close my eyes
Tell myself lies
