A Swing

Gleeful, happy
Filled with it
Thrilled by it
Until the evil rises
To take over
Emotion
Its devotion - attack
The psychological
This must be illogical
A transition
To another ambition
Friction and burning away
Slowly fading away
So it feels that way....
The friends become fiends
Fake
They led me astray
I can see their souls unclean
I see death amongst them
When will antemortem
Become postmortem?
When shalt I be taken
From the evil, hateful,
Maniacal world
One which leaves me in a swirl
Downward, as I go frontward
Am I evil, or is the world evil?
Take me
I surrender life
End the strife
Or....do I have more to give
Must I still live?
