Waiting

A rose sits in a bush waiting to be picked
It thinks 'will it be me or the other one.'

A woman waits for her true love
Awaiting the day that he might come by
He doesn't,
She still waits.

A boy waits for his father
Hoping to see him once more
The man doesn't show
The boy hope to see him again
That day doesn't come
Yet.

A girl writes a poem
Hoping to express herself in some way
No one really understands her
She's always trying to fit in.

I am waiting for the right moment
Waiting for the right person
I haven't found it yet
Haven't met them yet
But if i keep waiting,t
They will show up.
