Don't want to run from the one I love
I'd rather set my mind on things above
Human nature says go astray
But it's in me and I can't get away

From your still small voice
Like a quiet urging
I have no choice
But the gentle purging
Of all the things
That keep us apart
When your still small voice
Thunders in my heart

Don't want to go where I don't belong
I'd rather choose the right and shun the wrong
Don't want to lose what's rightfully mine
Help me keep this branch on the vine

I love the poem in general from the way it flows to the gentle rhyming scheme. This is beautifully constructed and a joy to read.
