The Ballad Of Billie Jo Blue

Billie Joe Blue was a cowgirl I knew
down old Sonora way.
She was tough and she was mean
and didn't have a lot to say.

She had two six guns and she carried
a whip like a snake.
No one messed with Billie Jo Blue.
Make no mistake.

Billie was tough through and through.
The bank was being robbed.
Billie Jo stepped in
and the robbers felt like they were being mobbed!

Some rowdies were picking on the old town drunk.
Billie Jo stepped in.
She made them dance and holler a tune.
They never even knew where they'd been.
