Why am I here? A common question I am no one special to have asked and I am no one special to wish for something more . . . I am like all others searching for a great perhaps. If you cannot live extraordinary you must die extraordinarily, so was my belief. My wish to leave a mark much like many others wish that now lie beneath the soil fading memories just slightly slower then there fading bodies, they lie just beneath the surface and there knowing smiles devour us. They say the universe demands to be felt, but I believe it is we that demand to be seen and felt. People refuse to live in a world where their actions are a part of a whole instead we chose to believe in the individual in our own power over life. I believe each person is a part of a greater whole the world is a giant person and just as every person has good and evil inside them so too does the world. Instead of this people struggle to stand out to leave something behind . . . I did this as well. I did not create currency I did not create politics and me being a simple particle of a greater whole I doubt the person reading this did either. It hurts my soul to know the minds and ideas of a few created the future for many. The people of the world needed more they demanded to be seen by the universe and thus the ones with the greed to imagine it and the drive to full feel it created the future. Without knowing it we were born into this world completely innocent and in our small minds completely free and because we were born we were told we mattered; we grow to realize this world for all its beauty and for all its vastness is a system one that we cannot escape. I am acutely aware that these thoughts my pen process into something tangible are not original, I may not know who spoke them first, I do know I will not be the one to speak them last. It has been my observation that writing does not bring life it does not create . . . no writing is used to bury it is the means to an end a last and desperate attempt to leave something behind. A child birth, a first kiss, the grass blowing softly on a mildew covered field tingling your body with the soft coolness of its mist the smell of the rain overcoming senses ‘moments’ there is no forever there are only moments, moments caught in infinities. There is unlimited numbers between 0 and 1. There is infinite time within time and the concept of time is infinite we were denied free motion but not free thought we can find our forever’s in our infinities, we can find our freedom in out moments.

just an aside, you do realize there is a blogger's section, right? this would fit in perfectly, as this is more a blog update. plus it would have the added effect of reaching it's target audience: those that wish to read a blog. just a thought! cheers, I won't rate this!

thank you as i did not know there was a blogger's section, that being said i will not move it. its states clearly in the title it is not a poem those who open it decide it wasn't what they were looking for or simply what is being said doesn't matter to them, can simply move on although i am truly so thankful that you took the time to read, i do not need a rating because i do not believe someone can be rated as i said everything that is written it done so for a reason it is done because to someone it mattered enough to be written who am i to say they didnt write it well or enough ? or that they lacked pattern or rhyme ? all I know is i was not the one who said those things mattered. again thank you for reading my friend.

Whether simply thoughts or prose poem, offered in another form this powerful piece would likely have already received accolades for it's sincerity, thoughtfulness and astute observations on human nature and life in general. If only to properly welcome you back, my friend, I'll put it to rest. An excellent piece to read and ponder. Thank you for posting; I hope you stay awhile, Mary Ann

thank you and as always your opinion means a great deal to me, but i must be honest i dont need accolades or any other form of attention for this peice to me it just mattered enough for me to write it was only my observation and my belief but i am thankful that you my wonderful friend took the time to read its truly an honor.
