Poets for Peace in Palestine

by rondo

Poets for Peace in Palestine
If a tree falls in the forest
And no one is around to hear it
Does it make sound ?
If a nation is ordered by international treaty
To relinquish some territory to the indigenous
Can it then steal their ground?

Hardship and starvation grips a tiny nation
Christian religious extremist watch and give ovation

Tell me what my reasoning’s have missed
Who are the real terrorist
In direct defiance of international treaty
With American support they grow ever more greedy

When a federal government
Declares it illegal to support those who oppose law
Then aids and abets a rogue nation isn’t that a flaw
You think North Korea and Iran are defiant
Israel makes them look almost compliant

The U.S. has no right to impact U.N.E.S.C.O.
Until Israel seizure of Palestinian land is let go

Atrocities against the Palestinian people never seem to end... I feel as if all humanity is shamed by the situation. As always, with you in your Poets for Peace in Palestine, Ron. Keep the faith, Mary Ann

It is shameful and we are worthy of rebuke and sanction as a nation.... we who supposedly learned and evolved from our own mistreatment of native Americans...condone and support these same sort of indignity committed against the jewish race...John and I imagene a world with no religion and they seem a lot happier....thx MA peace
