Poems - Aurora
| | Auroraby maryanns
Aurora, gentle princess
who journeys through the night
lighting lonely mountaintops
scattering your light
silken beams of blue and green
in streams of sheer delight.
Some say your light display
above the earth in cosmic bursts
spells excess solar power
a fiery force at play
colliding chains of ion streams
chase sun dogs far away.
Aurora, gentle diplomat
who wanders through the night
lighting learned manuscripts
sanctifies your right
to coexist with collegiate text
in peace and pure delight.

G'day maryann...
Lovely maryann as usual. Maybe you can explain. Is the aurora the northern lights? We do have a southern aurora display down here but not often.
Thanks maryann
