My silent Love

My silent Love

I
Sometimes love is not expressed
Love, sometimes, is silent and mute
But it is still love, seeming repressed,
As it is also glorious, unique and cute.

II
I may not often say it
But I love you just as well
It is in my heart, spirit, and infinite
It is the essence of souls I smell
The smell of happiness, the life I live
The care I freely and often give
The same feelings I leave stray;
So, love me, even when I am away

I have a soft spot for love poetry. The mere act of love envelopes that idea of Hope.
