Let's put together our two hearts
but not only our body parts

I could study your lovely eyes
they say what soul can not disguise
from the dark of dusk to sunrise
but still could feel that we're apart

I fill your valleys with my hills
we seem together in our wills
but may be just escaping chills
if that is all we have for arts

though we try for syncopation
I sometimes stand at the station
while you've left for your vacation
can we agree on when to start?

in bed we may wrestle and shout
lusting and thrashing all about
making each others brains fall out
and still we question cupids darts

we could share our sense of prescence
you give me your effervescence
and I'll give you my excrescence
if it helps to connect our hearts

so bring your body close to me
and let me see what you can see
so we can find the way to be
near when close and closer apart
