colliding galaxies

by omegapaf

not all galaxies are moving apart
some dance round one another in a work of art
lots of stars live in a family
like leaves on a tree
blowing in inter steller wind....wild and free

the planets are their children. bathing in their light
some drift away. some hold gravity close and tight.

" we are star stuff...contemplating star light " - carl sagan.

G'day Paul...
Stargazing gives the impression that stars/planets appear so close together - like...I'll nick over the next galaxy and grab a bottle of milk.
Thank you Paul

beautiful analogy paul - groups of stars can certainly be viewed as families. I love your line about the planets are their childing, bathing in their light. Really beautiful writing, my friend.

some stars cannot live without each other in binary and trinary star systems...some become black holes and destroy their family. but it's black holes that hold galaxies together...yes, that was actually about humans and nothing to do with stars - love and peace - paul.
