Please deliver to my mother.

// Mother do not cry,
or at least please try.
Didn't mean to hurt you,
what I've done was due.

When you stop to think of me,
think of how it used to be,
hearing ukuleles play,
singing joyous songs each day. //

I know my name wasn't called yet,
but I had a time line set.
I have given all I had to give,
my parting's not meant to cause you grief.

What's the good of being here,
when my life is full of fear.
Don't expect anyone to understand,
only those who experience it first hand.

There was chaos, there was darkness,
there was ire, there was sadness.
Though I tried so hard to go on,
feeling impotent seemed so wrong.

To live life in other form I chose,
to new hope and joy I could get close.
Don't mourn me at all mother please,
my troubles have begun to cease.

No more demons lurking in,
no more battles deep within.
Grew exhausted of the pressure,
What's a life without some pleasure.

Could you blame me or comdemn me?
Would you try to please forgive me?
If I thought I had a choice,
would have made at least some noise.

Don't view it as me being coward,
rather think of me moving forward.
Hoping what I've done was for the best,
and I could finally get some rest.

My eyes are filled with tears as I read this thru. I understand the pain that parents bring. Also the pain that a child brings. You must rise above that pain and like you said "move forward". Remember this: all things good or bad that we experience in life, makes us who we are. Both are blessings. Very Happy
