Unappreciated:

Everything I've ever done, a waste of
my time.
The sanity I lost along the way, too
far to find.
The people I dedicated my life to,
Nowhere around.
No one ever told me why I hurt so bad: I figured it out!
Every word I've ever spoken,
just wasted my breath.
I've given everything I've got.
Inside, there's nothing left.
I gave my very soul, and my heart.
And they turned their backs.
They might as well of written "freak you" on it
and gave it back.
For now I still have my friends,
but I wonder how long that'll last.
I guess one day they'll leave me too,
like other friends before that.
I know I still have God.
Silently holding my hand.
But the cross around my neck,
doesn't help the pain that still exists.

Maybe my life's meant to be wasted.
Live to be unappreciated.
Then put the blame all on myself,
cause there's nobody else to take it.
I forgive them, they ignore me.
Doesn't matter that I'm hurting.
I try my best to make them smile
but I know it isn't worth it.
My soul is full of holes.
My heart's a massive heart attack.
But I'm gonna keep on going until the time runs out.
On that day, when I'm taking my last breaths.
Maybe, then they'll I loved them more than I loved myself.

You write deep down from the heart
That's one thing I like doing
this also has a feeling we all feel
At a point in our life
One thing I do know in all these is that
Smiles won't wear us down but worries do and again
God will be God no matter how we think him.
