Worth in worthless life.

When will I get to sleep when I'm tired,
Must I keep feeling guilty about it?
Am I really that much of an evil doer,
that can't have peace within me?

Please listen to my cry,
could I get just what I need?
don't disown me for I try,
don't let me suffer and bleed.

Out of place, I know that it could change,
must have the courage to do the right things.
All that surrounds me including me seems strange,
will I make it to see what another day brings?

I'm not a burden but if I was, you would tell me, wouldn't you?
Please tell me I'm closer now to the truth than I was last year.
Wish I could find the answers to everything, all that we do.
If I am farther away, would you then please help me be near?

Things worth living for are hard to find these days,
Is not as bad as it seems, life is not a total waste,
many times we contemplate changing our ways,
it is what it is, but don't have to leave it in a haste.
