The midnight fox

I tread the night, with nose to ground
Through woodland glades without a sound
Down to the village, and farmers pens
My nose leads me to roosting hens

For I’m the slyest beast of night
I hunt and eat when you sleep tight
And then when my dirty deeds are done
It’s back to ground, to avoid the gun

Nah, it's a great poem... really captures the nature of the fox!
