it's the diversity of cultures that make the world interesting. it's the homogenization of every thing being reduced to a simple cultutal level and being told " this is right " and " this is wrong " by the media that is the problem. maybe the rest of the world doesn't want to watch films about camp vampires just because they are made in the USA. i prefere a new zealand film myself - " once were warriors " - paora and cultural hound.

Same here Phoebe. I just hope that we can be educated on the indigenous cultures before they are lost. Ignorance and lack of education for these cultures has caused so much heartache through lack of understanding. Education does mean both ways. Thank you Phoebe for this great social poem Lindsay
