Cry

by Pierre

    Cry of a child who born and calls to his Mother
    Rubescent embryo of an ephemeral sap
    Innocence accomplished in its immensity

    Cry of a woman's love fruit of adolescence
    Who lost her fiery youth in drunkenness of hope
    Infinite illusion with its eternal taste

    Cry of blood of warrior in the midst of battles
    Carnivorous raptor who tears all the bowels
    When the Instinct destroyes the poor Humanity

    Cry of who's dying at sunset of his life
    Moments of great chagrin unsatisfied belief
    When in silence is coming his last hour of truth

    Cry of life cry of love cry of war and of death
    Resonances endless of joy or of prayers
    They all demonstrate as our life is frail

(Hommage à Edward Munch)

    CRI

    C ri de l'enfant qui naît, pour appeler sa mère,
    R ubescent embryon d'une sève éphémère,
    I nnocence accomplie en son immensité ;

    C ri d'amour d'une femme, fruit de l'adolescence,
    R iche de sa jeunesse, ivre d'une espérance
    I nfinie, illusoire, au goût d'éternité ;

    C ri sanglant du guerrier au plus fort des batailles,
    R apace carnassier déchirant les entrailles,
    I nstinct annihilant de l' Inhumanité ;

    C ri rauque du mourant au coucher de sa vie,
    R âle du moribond, croyance inassouvie,
    I nstant qui sonnera l'heure de Vérité;

    C ris de vie ou de mort, d'amour ou cris de guerre,
    R ésonances sans fin de joie ou de prière,
    I ls nous prouvent céans notre précarité.
