Omegapaf's Garden (a villanelle)

In his garden where flowers grow wild and free
small animals have a peaceful home.
I want to live with the frogs and birds

and beautiful fragile butterflies
that add to the foray of colors
in his garden where flowers grow wild and free.

A mystical magical place where his hound
found friendship and love with a little green frog.
I want to live with the frogs and birds

where all is left to grow as it will.
I wish all the world could be like it is
in his garden where flowers grow wild and free.

Colors so vivid they make you cry
with longing that fills your heart.
I want to live with the frogs and birds

lay in the sun with his dog and the frog
no worries or cares, just flowers and love, yes,
I want to live with the frogs and the birds
in his garden where flowers grow wild and free.

oh, thank you so much bonita. wild creatures from miles around come to my garden. jessica was hoping about with the froggies today and gave them a little dance. wait till the mock orange bush and berry trees flower - paul and the garden hound.

This is a truly beautiful poetic tribute to a wonderful, crazy in a lovely way friend and his equally wonderful garden, I swear I've seen squirrels and all tiny creatures sharing that natural and beautiful environment - even exotic, tropical plants exist happily there it seems - but Jess is the boss!! Very Happy

You've complimented a wonderful British rainforest. Paul might even snap a photo of a Lyrebird in there one day. (I don't think they eat frogs)
