Ode to "Jilybean"

Ode to “ Jilybean ” (a horticultural revue)

My buddy Ronnie who’s “master grower”
Grew a batch of killer weed
Makes your stresses hit the floor
A small hit is all you need

It is green sticky candy
It makes me giddy and extremely randy
An energy of inspiration
Without the interference’s of stoned fixation

With an “orange skunk” mother
and a “space queen” dad
I modified my favorite list
To be the best weed I ever had

I’m an old school jungle grower
But I’ll admit this shit is good
A little hit and it was over
I was King Bee and sporting wood

His LED lighting
Is so technical it’s frightening
A new field of spectral wave lamps
That is plant specific and low amps

His caldron of hydroponics
A mix of sorcery and science
And cured the smoke impeccably
Retaining all its THC

I felt I owed Miss jill
I suppose that it’s only fitting
To thank her for this thrill
Of writing odes in just one sitting

And critique in speak for witch I’m noted
Not one Iota is untrue
Exaggerated or fact bloated
As most stoner poets do

for gumption or inspiration
it works to fill a poets need
Ronnie’s chronic is a muse tonic
I crown it King of Hydroponic weed
