blue love joy

blue love joy
makes tidy the mess
of heartbreak shells
strewn around
the waste paper basket
full of tissue fights
and wrung out tears

blue love joy
comforts the pink nose
and puts to bed
the over-done sigh
and heavy moan
that weighs down the
day

blue love joy
passes on ice cream
cartons and chocolate
squares and wrestles
the addictive
numbness of
low place booze

blue love joy
meditates on a
future day
which is not
this day with its real
pain and
its long song
but
another day
where she will see the
sky but fail to
remember its
name

I love this. The first and last stanzas are my favorite, I think they book end everything extremely well.
