Desperation

Upon mercy, truth may be strained
Calling out and finding unanswered
As crimson tears fall slowly about
On bended knees, lost prayers fade
And hope is lost throughout the flow of time.

This is a very stark view of desperation. It is in the visual aspect that the reader joins you, Crimson tears and Lost prayers. we can see these and so we are feel it.

this is a well written poem. it is beautiful in its depression. The words you chose make it pretty. I especially liked the last line.
