The bat

I was sitting here quietly reading
When a bat flew into my room
My peripheral caught his attention
He came right out of the gloom

He flittered about, I could hear his clicks
I think he was chasing a moth
But I can’t see it now
Though the bats still annoyed
And the poor moth has probably been scothed

G'day Wayne...
A nice little moment Wayne. I had the same experience with a quail at midnight. The dog rushed outside and the quail flew inside and hid under the sofa. Took some sorting out too.
