Revival at the Spa

Revival at the Spa

They bring their pains and woes
Near naked and exposed
Each with his own cause
No place to hide their flaws

We congregate these baptismal springs
To receive the healing touch
A pagan congregation
Of atheist sinners and such

Some abibe some abstain
Most are there to kill the pain
Of ache and woe
Acquired of late or long ago

Open testimonial
And confession we all share
We let the jets absorb regrets
And leave our stresses there

No conduct code or doctrine
No tithes or offerings either
No membership or oath required
You only have to be there

Whether drunken interjection
Or deep revealing thought
Most will leave this evening
With more than what they brought
