No One Sees My Room

No one sees my room
I've put it together
Woman With Yellow Hair
Picasso
I don't even like blondes
But I've allowed her into my room
Icarus is climbing the walls
onto a schizophrenic colt on the beach
Christ is hung by nails
again and again at my hand
He's there against red velvet
He is in the flesh
again as a paper doll
Peacock eyes make up the sun
that shines upon a
mossy cross with a missing person
My books paint a colorful picture
with their binds
hiding what is black and white
Bed supplied with thrift store sheets
Conception, menapausal sweats, tears,
a child wet the bed
Unless of course donated by a woman like me
No one sees my room
exposing easily
A mosaic
Made from the hearts I've met
within its walls.
