God save Haiti

Since the flood of Haiti
Where I drowned
Swallowing the water
And the fish
I lay a corpse
In a wilderness
of corpses
Suffering forevermore

Then my wife Katherine
She came to me
Saying calmly "be with me"
And I arose

As I journey through the
countryside
All the bodies are rising
Slowly creaking up
Walking once more
Viva la Haiti

We are walking together
Through the grass and mud
Undoing the earthquake
God save Haiti
