Phreezin (For Phoebe)

Apparently it’s getting cold in New Zealand
The frost fills the mornings with doom
And snows on its way, to Phoebe’s dismay
A new winter wardrobe she’d best buy quite soon

A nice woolly hat for her melon
Some gloves to keep numbness away
Muffs for her ears and a scarf for her neck
For when that wicked south wind wants to play

I get the feeling she doesn’t like winter
But she knows there’s beauty in all things
We’ll soon get a rhyme about icicles
Frozen puddles, snowmen, winter themes

Well I hoped you liked my small poem?
I wrote it tonight just for you
It’s nearly midnight in old England
And the warm sun will be up pretty soon

Awwww you are such a darling, over there in the warm summer sun, enjoying those golden rays, all laid back and sipping iced tea or licking hokey pokey ice cream...thank goodness for heat pumps, down side the power bill...thank goodnes for hot showers, down side, don't want to get out...is there NEVER a happy medium for anything???....thank you for this lovely and very honest write Wayne...I owe you one.. Very Happy
