the inscrewtable poet

the inscrewtable poet

able to intimate
through a half-open gate
but to be intimate
is to go beyond wit

if you read me three times
all my reasons and rhymes
and don't know what I said
then you haven't been fed

there is some protection
in my predilection
to be taken three ways
and leave you in a haze

no one can nail me down
make me feel like a clown
I seldom can be be scammed
and less apt to be slammed

though I am questioning
my sequestering
I know an open gate
lets fully in my mate

and to the world at large
I think I have a charge
to open as I can
to all the race of man
