Born Free of the Tracks

Last night I cried so hard that today I feel like a dehydrated peach
Finding her with the needle in her arms suddenly left me speechless
Finally my brain analyzed what was lying in front of me and I screamed
She never told me about the tracks that she always visited
She hid them beneath makeup and houses where she buys
How do you know when one is riding the silent horse?
The horse makes no sound as it runs through her veins
And she was the rider; hair flying in the sky
I never knew how many times she fell off
It was a secret club of bruises and I was left out
Now I stand in front of the hole that is ready to be filled
And as the first shovel of dirt topples off the side of the casket
I finally hear the horse and look up into the sky
I watch as the clouds dance and form
A girl, in the sky, on a horse, following no tracks; free to be born

wow! good job on the ,poem addiction can be very difficult trust me i, know i have written so many poems about it as i have struggled with this problem i wish u the very best and a clean and healthy life
