Ghost Liar

everybody loves how you rest
as though you've never
carried a trophy
for dodging trouble.
lies, hiding them so well
against yourself

rocking yourself
to sleep;
lies are stains
on tattered sheets
rubbed against your
body as you rest.

guilt, a stone pillow
felt by a flinch of ghost;
betrayed friends
receiving wrongness
as wrongness.

buried in your sundress
and lightweight skin,
with lies shoved
under your bed.

This is good stuff here! I recognize a bit of myself in the style of your poetry here. I feel totally comfortable here within these beautful metaphors. Love the line to follow>
