Enough

"At least your arms will be strong."--my nurse, Vanessa

Wheeling my wheelchair
is like
work in a factory.
My arms are strong.
I can lift ten men,
or a skyscraper,
or at least a car.

Truth is,
this repetitive
motion
gives the basic strength
to stand.

And that is enough.
