Statutes Fair.

Bus routes change
It must be statutes fair
The weather will change
Must be statutes fair
To win on the rifle range
Must be rare
But it’s statutes fair.

I haven’t been in years
It’s clogged up with pre-teens and men drinking beers
It brings the best of times
Hopes and fears
Of pre-Christmas.

2 days a year
Statutes fair
Statutes weather will be be fair
Use the hot dog stands
If you dare
And candy floss
You got to dream,
Toffee apples, brandy snaps and double cream.

First Monday in October
Does denote
The dodgem cars
And a hook-a-duck float.
