Drug Addiction

Yes, I take drugs each and every day
I'll keep on with then no matter what you say
one pill makes me happy
when I'm feeling sad
another pill calms me down
when I'm good and mad.
When my joints ache in the pouring rain
I have another pill that takes away the pain.
If the screaming children make me a wreck
my little box of pills let me say what the heck.
In the middle of the day I get feeling tired
my pretty little yellow pill gets me back to wired.
And if at night sleep won't come to me
I take a little blue pill or maybe two or three.
So children listen when your parents speak
and tell you drugs make you dumb and weak
but as for all their drugs I say to you
do as they say not as they do.

and the doctors pay their bills and travel
on money made to make you unravel
they give you pills for every thing that ails
but in the end it always fails
