Pantomime

Slow down take your time
life's just a pantomime
all about a list of rules
written by a group of fools
who think they know how to lead
most of them can't even read.
One more repeated lie
take a break one big sigh
stand up and take a bow
your leaders not a sacred cow
bend your knees and genuflect
the lie to you then demand respect.
Take my word - you took all the rest
left me with garbage and took the best
so I end this song of rhyme
cause life's just a pantomime.
yeah, life's just a pantomime.
