Poems - the inflatable woman

the inflatable woman

the inflatable woman

eyes in painted nests
blinding clorox teeth
bouncing rubber breasts
God knows what's beneath!

some forgo their looks
to be everyone
so cosmetic cooks
help to get it done

the DNA guy
of the Nobel prize
hopes that by and by
all beauty will rise

they'll alter the genes
for the chosen looks
produce only queens
like fairy tale books

the present day "droid"
will give way to genes-
we'll need help from Freud
to know what this means

a generic place
where all look alike-
no natural face?
I'll hike down the pike

for a crooked nose,
figure less than Greek,
for two extra toes,
mouth a little weak

laugh with a cackle
blue eye and a brown
eat like a grackle
and act like a clown

recognizable
by her Mom and Dad
undisguiseable
and follows no fad

that's the one for me
with nothing removed
she is what you see
and nothing "improved"

Rabbit I count at least three different poems in this piece all got me hooked but none finished ...still three hooks are worthy ten stars....peace
