To be beautiful

Is it curse to be a beautiful object?
Why there is always fear to react?
Why people stare a good looking person?
I found it irrelevant with any of the reason

I am under direct custody and supervision of mother
So far nothing untoward has taken place to bother
Even though I am unaware of what can be reason behind
The relatives and other people try to come near and find

I am of quite shy nature and keep aloof
As I am protected by parent and live under one roof
There is no likelihood of any body taking undue advantage
More over I am too cautious to remain alert and manage

Mother may often come to me and try to know
What has been progress whole day and then go
So many times I tried to disclose and confide her
But I could gather no strength to go near

I have no fear in mind but remain fully alert
As many boys of my age try to be smart
Try to come close and offer friendship
I am moved sometimes and think of companionship

At one stage or other one has to take decision
It may lack in depth care and may not be up to precision
Young age is such that gives you no time to think
You are always at cross road and far to sink

My mother knows me fully well
She may understand everything but will not tell
She has given me enough of freedom to throw whole weight
Take study of the situation and coolly wait

Like me many more girls may be facing same scene
Many might have not thought what later it could have been
Yet life moves on and we are caught midst of uncertainty
Almost everybody at home pray for our happiness from almighty

I shall be grateful for the backing provided
In some cases parent put restriction and we are avoided
I think my mother and papa are of excellent nature
I see no reason of any problem in the near future
