Tennis Anyone?

After a day on the tennis courts
the young man stopped off at the bar for a drink
he'd put his tennis ball in the pocket of his shorts
an automatic gesture he did without having to think.

"Sorry." said a young woman, "I don't mean to stare,
I'm not being forward or acting flip,
I was just wondering what's that bulge you have there?"
"Tennis ball," he answered as he took a another sip.

"Oh! Ouch!" the young woman replied,
"how you feel, you see, I know,"
she said as she sympathetically sighed,
"I've never heard of that before but I have tennis elbow!"
