The Realm Of Infinity

Eternity is reality
And earth may be a shooting star
In the realm of infinity
we are here by a miracle
A miraculous dot in time
Phenomenal irony easy to believe
We're intelligent, we're clever
we've had a lever on this planet
For what seems to be a very long time
When we are mere specks of reason
In a season so huge and awesome
That we have always wondered why
with a sigh, scientists, theologians and
philosophers have given it their all
to explain this beautiful ball
this plane of existence
This realm of humanity
eternity is reality

interesting and intriguing work. I was going to quote a line from a song by Kansas - all we are is dust in the wind, but I see omegapaf beat me to it quoting the originator of that line Socrates...lol!

I like the body of this poem, the internal rhyming is wonderful. I enjoyed the read. Not quite sure how the start/finish lines connects with it. Nice, though...

I really like the poem and these three lines seem outstanding to me. The flow, the sounds,

'We're intelligent, we're clever
