Skinwalker

he loves best beneath
forest trees
underneath umbrellas
of dipping flying leaves

below their long
and graceful arms
two of you toss
on quilted sphagnum moss
and there with sensual ease
you sumptuously please

as one you breathe
inhale the scented air
then sigh inside
perfumed by the breeze
sent down from fir and cedar
onto hallowed emerald ground
where languidly we drift amidst
fragrant dreams of evergreens

it's here you go
to laugh to touch to tease
to glow in shining peace

lying low
nuzzling slow
his lips always know
how very much
value has the velveteen
tenderness between
two doe-blessed breasts

where speckled sunlight rests
dropped down as dappling kisses
coins of ancient gold to crown
the human fawn
whose love is drawn
with liquid song
beneath his touch

eyes within eyes
come swimming into dawn
exquisitely baptized

he walks your eager warmth
roughly softly drinks you in
as voices of tall trees begin
arching over summer’s secrets
moaning in the dream-time wind

he worships you
until you let him wear
your sighing soul within
his lonely hungering skin
