Level Headed

In search of fortune and fame you're bound to lose your privacy
So introverted and quiet
That obviously applies to me
Well I can see what I could be if I would leap out on faith
To take a chance and advance to a marvelous place
The only thing I ever wanted was a million
Yet I couldn't get a dime
Still I tried to keep from stealing
And I don't really know
With no one to even tell me
If there's a real reason why I'm bent on failing
A natural propensity
Bewilderment won't get to me
I don't want to be waiting all of life to get to see
If I'm making a difference
Facing deliverance
Come equipped or come to grips
With all the pain you've inflicted
We try and overlook the past while it's still on our backs
Coming back
When you've moved on
Long and after the fact
And success is in your mind
If you dream you'd achieve
If you think you're being successful
You are destined to be
Talent down the drain is stressin' to see
That's why I utilize my mind cause' it's a blessing to me
