this poem to speaks of time, the end of things
we have tendency to look at the goal and not enjoy the journey

your poem describes me in the first three lines.
"until you publish that book
that they find on the store shelves,
you are not a writer"

because i am, i do. i'm a self published author
i have more books in boxes than are on store shelves
the books i do sell or person to person
i'm getting ready to submit copyright for my 9th book
when the funds are right, i'll print a modest number of them.
i set my whole book cover to cover using microsoft word
the printer only requires an electronic copy to work with.

i mostly write to get stuff out of my brain worth remembering
so that i can think on new things. i've not written much lately
but have been catching up on my reading. mostly a daily poem
two from gotpoetry poets. i really appreciate you all. now you
all are published authors.
