Robbing Myself

I'm not a thief of the poems you write
I just change the title in immaturish delight
No one suspects me yet because I'm an amateur
New to the system I'll get away with it for sure

Don't blame me just blame the staff
I'll use the excuse it was only a draft
This is a quick way to spread my fame
And for everyone there to know my name

I'm not that creative so I'll copy your work
I know if I'm caught I'll be labeled a jerk
But I expect high ratings taking only the best
Only tens with accolades leaving the rest

Seriously, I put myself in these shoes because I'm a real poet
Writing about my world through self and not afraid to show it
I may look at other poems but rewrite only mine sometimes
To attempt to outdo only myself and open the door of our minds
