Chase

pursuing you
yawns us into two
silenced hearts whose
union hides behind walls
rejecting all the all that each
will give too hard too much
leaving us adrift at sea
inside the stormy clutch
of synchrony who missed
our infinite attraction
to chaste sweet and dear
that fell in gentle tears
our emerald expansion
lost to life by bad translation
freedom leaking out confusion
and chaos led by sad unwise
yet all the while I fiercely ride
your enchanting liquid sighs
in this mesmerizing dance
of hope poured slowly down
white skies of high delirium
into a carefully construed
oh-so-delicate pas de deux
set before the kindly glance
the ALL-seeing Eye
holds in eternal view
